Our Mission

Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

What We Do

Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally by constructing simple, affordable homes. Our volunteers and partner families provide most of the labor to build the homes with individuals, faith groups, and corporate donors providing money and materials for the homes. Partner families invest hundreds of "sweat equity" hours in building their own home and the homes of others. Their no-interest mortgage payments help us buy the materials for future homes.
